I'm probably just like a lot of you in that I had a dream that I wasn't pursuing. Family and financial reponsibilities often make choosing your dream job over what may be the more "responsible" career difficult. The Spike Lee's and Garth Brooks of the world are far more the exception than the rule; artists that struggled and took great risks, but in the end realized their dreams (and how).

I've spent the past twenty years in finance after attending college for music studies. Now, I've returned to my personal passion and dream, music. I don't aspire to reach the heights of notoriety as Spike or Garth, but would love to carve out a niche among those who enjoy relaxing jazz.

Here's to all of us who want to realize our dreams, whatever they may be.
